Although the project for this niche model was postponed in the wait for better economical periods, it is now official that the CLS Shooting Brake will be unveiled in the second semester of 2011.
The new Mercedes-Benz model will be assembled at the Sindelfingen factory and it will practically represent the materialization of the ConceptFASCINATION we saw in 2008;the technical platform will be shared with that of the next generation CLS-Klasse(C218), due to be presented in 2010. The CLS Shooting Brake will display an overall length in excess of 5 metres, so plenty of room inside to accomodate passengers on the comfortable seats and to transport various objects in the spacious trunk.
